CAROL ANN DUFFY & JOHN SAMPSON
Carol Ann Duffy has made poetry part of the national landscape, and is acclaimed across the world. Her poetry is beautiful, heart-rending and funny, exploring the deepest recesses of human joy and pain, in the tradition of Shakespeare and Donne. All her collections have won awards. She was made a CBE in 2001.
Accompanied by John Sampson, who plays ‘anything that blows’, Carol Ann will read, ‘…what it is like in WORDS’.
