Outspoken is our resident company of emerging artists in partnership with Birmingham City University. Outspoken makes work with and for young people, around issues of health and well-being, under the artistic leadership of Hannah Phillips. The new work fuses live performance with digital technology.


Get it On

Get it On was a new sexual health performance by Outspoken, commissioned by Umbrella, Birmingham and Solihull Sexual Health Services and supported by Birmingham City University and Arts Council England.



A fusion of live performance, music and interactive digital technology exploring issues of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) funded by Birmingham City University, Arts Council England and Worcester County Council in partnership with C&T.

Hyped – an interactive, digital grime performance exploring issues of mental health for 13-18 years in partnership with Strong Young Minds and Open Door Youth Counselling
