A Black Country Night Out

A Black Country Night Out

DANDY - THE EMPTY CAN - IAN ‘SLUDGE’ LEES - JOE THOMAS & OLLIE SPENCER

A Black Country Night Out is one of the longest running shows in the Midlands, over the years it has starred some of the truly great local entertainers such as Aynuk & Ayli, Tommy Mundon, Dolly Allen and Giggetty.

This tradition has continued over the years as the show has played to packed houses all over the region and in 2018 the tradition continues with a show full of fabulously talented entertainers from the Black Country.

Show regulars Dandy are one of the most sought after comedy acts. Husband and wife Alan and Glyn are always right on the button with their constantly refreshed routines.

It is a great pleasure to welcome the band behind the Black Country Anthem….The Empty Can who have performed all over the world but have their hearts firmly in the Black Country.

We welcome back the comedy legend that is Mr Ian ‘Sludge’ Lees….renowned throughout the UK as a very funny man…. while introducing the wonderful Joe Thomas who will be putting a smile on your face and having you singing some classic songs performed on his banjo (any fans of George Formby?)...your Master Of Ceremonies in 2018 is very special guest Ollie Spencer one of the regions finest comedians whose showbusiness credentials include being the drummer (so many comedians were drummers!) with The Idle Race whose number include Jeff Lynne.

The Black Country Night Out is back…packed to the rim with music, mirth and merriment!!

"What a great night...Just like it used to be"
