Described in The Guardian as ‘gifted’ and ‘disproportionately likeable’, Fi  has won Sony Gold and Silver awards for her BBC Radio 4 shows and is one of this country’s best known radio voices.  In addition to The Listening Project, she presents Radio 4’s Shared Experience and Perfect Country on the BBC World Service.   Fi is on the board of Sound Women (a networking organisation for women working in audio) and was Chair of Judges for the 2009 Orange Prize for Fiction.
