Summer Holidays are coming, and as always we've lined up a fab-tastic programme of family films, shows, summer schools and events to keep all the family entertained all summer long:


COMEDY: Jay Foreman’s Disgusting Songs For Revolting Children
Wed 25th July at 1pm
Age 6+

Join award-winning musical comedian Jay Foreman for a devilishly cheeky hour of songs, poems and comedy for children of all ages, which regularly sells out at Edinburgh Fringe.

Britain’s favourite detective gets the gnome treatment, in the all-star sequel to the smash-hit Gnomeo & Juliet!

WORKSHOPS: Musical Theatre Summer School
Mon 30th July to Fri 3rd August, 10am to 4pm each day
Ages 6-18

Suitable for all abilities and levels of experience, this fun week of workshops will give young people the chance to develop their singing, dancing and acting with our outstanding youth theatre leaders.

THEATRE: Little Red Riding Hood
Tue 31st July at 2pm
Age 3+

Packed full of silliness, sparkles and a sassy heroine, this is a wonderful first pantomime experience for younger children.

COMEDY: How Does This Politics Thing Work Then?
Wed 1st August at 2pm
Age 7+

Comedy Club 4 Kids specialise in making children laugh, and How Does This Politics Thing Work Then? will help them understand how politics works in a clear, informative and fun way!

EVENT: Bubble Disco

Kids can get their groove on at this fun morning event, with a DJ, dancing, glowsticks, games and bubbles!

Where 90s rave culture meets CBeebies! Dance together, play together and share your favourite 90s anthems with the smallest members of your family - glitter and glow sticks encouraged…

WORKSHOPS: On-Screen Acting For Young People
Mon 6th to Fri 10th August, 10am to 4pm each day
Age 6-18

Young people will learn about acting on camera, as well as filming and editing - and the week will conclude with a film premiere to showcase their work.

THEATRE: Young Herbert’s Horrors
Tue 7th August at 11am & 2pm
Age 4-9

A swashbuckling pirate adventure, featuring jaunty music, gallows humour and the obligatory parrot, from the ever popular Half Moon Theatre Company.

FILM: Incredibles 2 (PG)
Mon 13th & Thurs 16th August at 11am; Tues 14th & Weds 15th at 2pm

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life.
