98 Lace: From Classical Beginning
Each lace artist has selected pieces of their work which demonstrate their own individual journey from the more traditional to contemporary art lace
98Lace is a fellowship of lacemakers from across the UK, with varied textile backgrounds, who use traditional techniques to create lace for the 21st century.
United by a common goal of giving modern lace a livelier public profile, its members produce original work, pushing forward the traditional boundaries while demonstrating the relevance of lace today.
