Barnstormers Comedy April 2020

Barnstormers Comedy April 2020

Sit back and enjoy a great Saturday night out as Barnstormers Comedy' compere introduces three top comedians from the London/National stand-up comedy circuit.

Barnstormers Comedy prides itself on finding the funniest, cleverest and maybe silliest comedians out there so a great night of entertainment is guaranteed.

This month's line-up:

MC: Jon Pearson
Jon began standup comedy in 2010, with his first performance at Birmingham's Highlight Comedy Club. Two successful Edinburgh shows later, and 5 years working the UK comedy circuit, Jon is now regularly found at the biggest and best comedy clubs across the UK including The Glee Club, The Comedy Store and Jongleurs, both as an act and a compere. Jon's laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.

Diane Spencer
Worcester-born Diane Spencer delights audiences worldwide with her cheeky, dark and often edgy stand-up comedy.  A dazzling performer, Diane captivates the crowd with her charming demeanour, cutting wit and skilfully crafted material.

“Her wacky and irreverent storytelling will charm, shock and uplift you. Not for the fainthearted, but also not to be missed.” ThreeWeeks

Anthony King
Anthony has been a fixture on the UK comedy scene for nearly 30 years playing top UK clubs, theatres, arts centres and festivals. His unique dead-pan style was honed on the 80s & 90s London circuit.

"It’s the one-liners that set him apart. Sparse, efficient, unexpected – and often with a delicious twinge of underlying nastiness – each one is an elegant example of perfect joke construction….”  Chortle.co.uk

Paul Pirie
A brilliant natural comedian, Paul Pirie comes packed full of energy and uses every ounce to maximum effect, with superb delivery. With a set that jumps from bitchy to silly, you’re never more than a line away from a great pun, insight or well-crafted punch line, delivered with a ferocity that makes Paul’s humble beginnings on the Scottish circuit seem such a long time ago.

"His clowning and quick fire gags will win him fans.. his physical mannerisms have a touch of Eric Morecambe" The Daily Record
